The Master of Counselling (MC) is a 36-credit online graduate program. You must complete at least 24 credits through Athabasca University.
You will participate in paced learning activities that require completion of course work on a fixed schedule. You should plan to devote a minimum of 15 hours per week in each course. This program includes 2 on-site practicums that total 400 hours (200 hours of direct client contact).
You can finish this program in as little as 3.5 years of full-time study or take up to 7 years to complete all requirements.
