Program details

The Bachelor of Science, Applied Mathematics Major is a 120-credit online degree program. You must complete at least 30 credits through Athabasca University. If you hold a computing or science-related diploma from an accredited college or technical institute, you may receive a minimum block of 30 credits. Depending on the content of the diploma, up to a maximum of 60 credits may be transferred towards the Bachelor of Science post-diploma route.

Most courses are completed through online individual study, allowing you to complete the coursework at your own pace.

You can finish this program in as little as 2 years (post-diploma route) or 4 years (regular route) of full-time study. Or work at your own pace and take as long as you need. There is no time limit for completing the program. As long as you take at least one course a year, your student account will remain active.

Students also have the option of taking Applied Mathematics as a minor.
