Dianna is one of our Academic Program Advisor in the Faculty of Science and Technology. She is responsible for providing solid advice to our Science students on what courses to pick, making sure their courses count towards their program, and help them navigate the rules, policies and regulations of their programs. She is kind, patient, a great listener, and will help guide you through the AU student experience.
Dianna has been with Athabasca University since 2007 in various roles, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience assisting students. She has taken AU courses and has experienced the challenges our students face while juggling her career, her family, her studies, and other commitments. Eventually her goal is to complete an AU degree and greatly admires our students for overcoming their challenges to further their education.
She is a long time resident of Athabasca county, but has spent time in Japan, Florida, Hawaii, California, and Mexico. Dianna has been involved with many community sports, including baseball, curling, and coaching skaters in figure/power skating. However, her favourite winter activity is tobogganing with her kids. She loves to bake but hates doing dishes. In her spare time, she likes to relax with a good book.
