Program details

The University Certificate in Heritage Resources Management (UC-HRM) is a 30-credit online undergraduate program. You must complete at least 15 credits through Athabasca University.

The UC-HRM is designed for students who do not already have an undergraduate degree. Students who do have an undergraduate degree should take the Graduate Diploma in Heritage Resources Management.

All courses are individualized study, allowing you to complete the coursework at your own pace. The program includes a 240-hour practicum.

You can finish this program in as little as 1 year of full-time study or work at your own pace and take as long as you need. There is no time limit for completion.

If you successfully complete the certificate program, you can apply to ladder your coursework into one of several bachelor’s degree programs.
