Our Social Sciences courses and programs explore concepts and theories in the broad areas of legal studies, political studies, and human studies. Our offerings focus mainly on undergraduate studies, with the Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting available for graduate students.

Undergraduate certificates

If you are looking for a shorter program, we offer an online University Certificate in Public Administration. With additional study, or credit for work experience, this program can ladder into our Bachelor of Professional Arts, Governance, Law, and Management Major program.

We also offer an online Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Inclusive Education. This certificate is for teachers who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in the area of special needs.

Graduate diploma

Our online Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting is designed for those who want to start a legislative drafting career or want to refresh their skills.

Unlike many AU graduate programs that use paced grouped study, courses in the Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting are all individualized study. Start a course whenever you are ready and take up to 5 years to complete the program.

If you are interested in legislative drafting, but not in search of a credential, free non-credit versions of several courses are available through open courseware.
