Research and Study Leave Travel and Relocation Fund

The Research and Study Leave Travel and Relocation Fund (RSLTRF) offsets travel and relocation expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred as a result of activities in accordance with Article 15-Research and Study Leave Activities:

  • When an Academic Staff Member travels to locations and for activities integral to the conduct of their Research and Study Leave.
  • When an Academic Staff Member and their family relocates residence as a result of a Research and Study Leave.

Eligible expenses

Eligible expenses under the Research and Study Leave Travel and Relocation Fund include:

  • Travel costs for activities that are integral to the Research and Study Leave.
  • Freight and cartage on household effects (if relocating).

Awards

Awards are up to $2,500 (CDN)

Recipients of Research and Study Leave Travel and Relocation Fund Grants should acknowledge the funding in related publications and presentations.
