The Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations is a 90-credit online degree program. You must complete at least 24 credits through Athabasca University. If you have a post-secondary diploma, you can take the shorter post-diploma route that may give you 30 to 60 credits toward your degree. If you already have your Chartered Professionals in Human Resources designation, you may receive up to 6 credits toward your degree.
The program is accredited with Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Alberta. Graduates of the program who maintain an average GPA of 2.7 or higher and complete a specific set of courses are exempted from writing the National Knowledge Exam.
All courses are individualized study, allowing you to complete the coursework at your own pace.
You can finish this program in as little as 1 year (post-diploma route) or 3 years (regular route) of full-time study. Or work at your own pace and take as long as you need. There is no time limit for completion.
