Program details
The Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) is a 90-credit online degree program. There is no residency requirement, so you can combine transfer credit, prior learning assessment, and challenge for credit to fulfil your degree requirements.
The Bachelor of General Studies has 2 designations available: Arts and Science and Applied Studies. You must take at least 45 credits in your chosen designation.
All courses are individualized study, allowing you to complete the coursework at your own pace. You can finish this program in 3 years or less of full-time study. Your completion time will depend on the amount of transfer credit awarded, and how quickly you complete each course. There is no time limit for completing the degree.
