Dr. Paul Jerry is the program director of the Master of Counselling program and professor in the Faculty of Health Disciplines, Athabasca University. His research includes several edited international volumes on virtual worlds and virtual reality. His work is some of the first Canadian research on the use of technology for distance training of psychologists. As a Registered Psychologist, he practices in rural southeast Alberta. He has worked as an assessor for various FASD Clinics since 1999. He is a Past President of the College of Alberta Psychologists (2009/2010 and 2017/2018) and has served several psychology and education organizations at the provincial, national and international level.
