Master of Business Administration (MBA)
In 1994, AU's Centre for Innovative Management logged on with the world's first fully interactive online MBA program. Today, the AU MBA is Canada's largest MBA program, and has taken a place among the most respected MBAs in the world.

In 2009, the Faculty of Business continued its pioneering tradition by launching Canada's first online Doctor of Business Administration. Students in this program are senior level management professionals researching practical business and managerial issues with an eye to fostering innovation and competitive advantage in Canada and beyond.

The newest diploma program offered by the Faculty of Business was created for leaders in business or those looking to take on a leadership role. In today’s increasingly complex and global workplace, leaders have a more challenging role than ever before. The GDLM program is made up of 15 online 4-week courses worth 1 graduate credit each, and one 12-week capstone course worth 3 graduate credits. The courses provide graduate-level professional development opportunities designed for managers and professionals with significant work experience who are poised for advancement.

This diploma is awarded after successful completion of Phase 1 of the MBA program, and provides a solid, graduate-level foundation in management. It can be taken as a stand-alone credential, but because the GDM is part of the MBA program, the admission requirements are the same.
