School of Computing and Information Systems - Accessing course materials
Access for all courses is now through myAU. The student ID and password are the same as the Office of the Registrar Online Services (OROS) site. If you have forgotten your password, and are unable to reset it through the login site, then you will need to contact the IT Helpdesk. There is also an alternate course access site with login the same as for myAU.
Once you have accessed the course link, you will be directed to the SCIS Moodle Learning Management System. Select the course name link to access the course materials. The online course materials provide general course information, forums, a participant's list, assignments with assignment drop boxes, and links to the Study Guide. For more information regarding using Moodle, see the Moodle Help page.
You are allowed access to the course materials before your actual course start date, but cannot submit assignments or quizzes, post to the forums, or contact your tutor until your actual course start date.
The Moodle Weekly (graduate courses) or Topics (undergraduate courses) outline provides a study plan for your course, and links to the units or sections of the Study Guide. When you are viewing the Study Guide online, you can follow the individual links to the Study Guide objectives or activities, or you can select the printer icon in the upper right corner and view the entire unit or section on one page.
You also have the option of downloading the Study Guide and viewing it as one PDF file. These options are available either from the 'Study Guide Contents' of your Study Guide, or from the Moodle course page.
