Trevor Butler is a Professional / Chartered Engineer with over 27 years in practice of sustainability and architectural engineering, specializing in deep green integration of engineering with architecture.

Trevor is an Innovator, leading on several first-of-a-kind projects – works laterally and holistically bringing ideas together in a logical and ordered manner to creative, workable solutions, monitor and measure operational performance. He is Adjunct Professor at Dalhousie University (since 2001) and has contributed to building systems integration at UBC (sala) McGill, Universite de Montreal and Ryerson.

Trevor is studying for a PhD in zero-carbon, passive cooling, infection control systems at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and is due to submit his thesis in 2022.

Trevor has been a volunteer with not-for profit groups, including the Okanagan Sustainability Leadership Council, Smart Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure Association, and Capstone projects, UBC, OC. Plus, he assists at his children’s school with introduction to renewable energy and general grilling hot dogs for events etc.
