Kate Finegan

Kate Finegan is a course production coordinator in the Faculty of Science and Technology. She has more than a decade of classroom teaching experience, most recently at the University of Toronto, and has edited academic, creative, and technical documents for a variety of clients. She believes that collaborative, learner-focused editing is key to building high-quality educational experiences. Having earned an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), she has a particular interest in making materials accessible to all, including English language learners. When she’s not working, you can usually find Kate with yarn or a book in her hands unless she’s walking her dog or climbing rock walls.
