Master of Arts – Interdisciplinary Studies - Non-program students
Persons wishing to enrol as a non-program student are not required to hold a baccalaureate degree from a recognized post-secondary education institution. Non-program students may take up to 5 courses in total. However, no more than 2 courses per semester are allowed.
Courses taken as a non-program student may also be applied towards the MAIS program degree requirements according to program regulations, if and when the student becomes a program student. Athabasca University is under no obligation to admit non-program students into the MAIS program.
Students currently in an AU graduate program interested in taking an elective with MAIS must contact mais@athabascau.ca directly.
Non-program applications will be reviewed on a continual basis and must be completed 1 month before the course start. Failure to complete all steps will result in your application not being reviewed for approval or processed.
