Master of Arts – Interdisciplinary Studies - Non-program students
Persons wishing to enroll in the MA-IS as a Non-Program Student are not required to hold a baccalaureate degree from a recognized post-secondary education institution. Applicants may be asked to submit a resume supporting their Non-Program application. Students are accepted into the MA-IS program at the discretion of Athabasca University. Some courses may have limited enrolments.
All materials for non-program student registration (including the application form and fees) must be completed in full and received one month before the course start date.
Non-program students may take up to 5 courses in total. However, no more than 2 courses per semester are allowed.
Courses taken as a non-program student may also be applied towards the MAIS program degree requirements according to program regulations, if and when the student becomes a program student. The University is under no obligation to admit non-program students into the MAIS program.
