Bachelor of Arts - Anthropology Major - Field programs

Although the Anthropology Program at Athabasca University does not currently offer its own field school opportunities, faculty members Dr. Hugh Notman and Dr. Meaghan Peuramaki-Brown offer field schools in primatology and archaeology, respectively, through the University of Calgary. AU transfer credit is available if students wish to partake in these programs. Please feel free to contact Dr. Notman for more information.

It is also possible to attend other field schools (e.g., archaeological field schools) offered outside of AU and receive transfer credits. Please contact Dr. Meaghan Peuramaki-Brown or your tutor for more information on these opportunities in anthropology, both at home and abroad.
