Overview

This project involves organizing a virtual symposium A Research Assistant with organization, communication, graphic design, and social media knowledge will be hired to help organize the virtual symposium.

Specific activities include, but are not limited to

The primary job duties for the research assistant (R-1) will include:

  • Communicating with speakers and attendees
  • Scheduling and managing cancellations
  • Create visually appealing social media content
  • Manage social media platform

The successful candidate will work with, and directly report to, Dr. Eliana Elkhoury at Athabasca University. Dr. Elkhoury will provide adequate training for the required skills.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants who have:

  • Great communication skills
  • Proficiency in using social media and content creation
  • Proficient writing skills
  • Creativity
  • Web development is a plus

All meetings and individual and collaborative work will be conducted online.
