Wanda is passionate about supporting the positive development and growth of children, youth and families. She is grateful for opportunities to work alongside individuals to help them realize their own personal and professional hopes and dreams. Wanda believes in lifelong learning and has achieved three degrees: Bachelor of Education, Master of Education and a Master of Psychology. For over thirty-five years, Wanda has been honored with the opportunity to fulfill the following roles in education: teacher; school counsellor; school-based administrator; associate superintendent and education consultant. Wanda promotes a developmental-relational approach in response to children and youth who present with significant social, emotional and/or behavioural challenges. Wanda is a strong advocate for people and is especially passionate about working with those who may be marginalized and/or existing within a minority population and who may benefit from advocacy and support. Additionally, Wanda works with Athabasca University as an individualized study tutor in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Wanda loves spending time with her family and friends. She stays in close touch with her brothers, sister-in-law’s, and their adult children. Wanda enjoys being outdoors in nature and loves reading, hiking, swimming, golfing, and going for long walks. Another big interest of Wanda’s is travelling, when time and resources permit, to new places around the world with family and friends.
