In 2013 I joined the Anthropology Program as a tutor/on-line instructor at Athabasca University. I am an environmental archaeologist with a broad range of experiences that reflect an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach. My interests broadly focus on understanding the relationships between humans and their natural environments with a specialization in paleoecology. Having taught in various post-secondary settings, I have a strong commitment to supporting students. During my time at AU, I have tutored a number of courses and served as Acting Academic Coordinator in the Anthropology Program. My current focus is on exploring and applying different pedagogical approaches as I aim to tailor my teaching to individual student needs. Conversations, relationship-building, and partnerships with students fuel my passion to teach.
