Prior to coming to Athabasca University (AU) in 2007, Mark Crawford (D.Phil, Oxon.) worked for four years as a sessional lecturer at several universities in Ontario and British Columbia and for five years at both levels of government as a Parliamentary Intern, Trade Policy Analyst and Ministerial Assistant. He has been active in research, teaching, and service in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and has been one of the two full-time Faculty members in charge of the B.A. program in Political Science. His research interests have been in the areas of health policy, trade policy and democratic reform.
