Kimberley van Tol

I thoroughly enjoy supporting and mentoring students at AU.

I have a Master’s degree in (Adult) Education, which I obtained in the Netherlands in 2010 as well as a BC Teaching Certificate in Special Education. I have worked with students with disabilities in the age range of Pre-K – post secondary in teaching roles as well as supportive and supervisory roles.

I believe online education is the way of the future. I am passionate about Universal Design for
Learning and creating exciting courses in online environments.

Having moved to Canada from the Netherlands in 2012, I have had the opportunity to establish a career in (online) education in both Europe as well as North America.
