Darren graduated from the University of Calgary in 2001 with an M.Sc. in Psychology, specializing in Behavioural Neuroscience. He also studied at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King's College London, England. His graduate studies focused on hippocampal electrophysiology and neurodegenerative disorders.
