Dr Noschang is tutor for PSYC 450 Drugs and Behaviour at Athabasca University. She has vast experience in both research and post-secondary teaching in Psychopharmacology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry. She has supervised undergraduate and graduate students at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil and University of Calgary. She focuses her teaching practice mainly on the applicability of the content she is teaching, trying to show the importance of the subject to the “real life”. She has also great interest in exploring different teaching techniques (i.e., games) to make learning a fun and enjoyable process.
Dr Noschang research interests are in the field of Neurosciences. She has ben involved in many projects that aim to understand how different interventions (stress, maternal separation, drugs, epilepsy) affect the brain development and the behavioural outcome. Her work has been presented and recognized in national and international conferences.
