Highlights of qualifications

  • Extensive experience with planning, implementing , supervising and managing educational and behavioural programming for children and adolescents with diverse learning needs as an associate superintendent, acting director, supervisor, senior manager, project manager, acting principal, assistant school administrator, university tutor, acting academic coordinator, consultant and teacher.
  • Doctoral Candidate: Educational Psychology, Special Education University of Alberta.
  • Attained a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Special Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English, and a Bachelor of Education with distinction.
  • Led the provincial implementation of Supporting Positive Behaviour in Alberta Schools and the 8 year implementation of a project designed to provide relational supports for adolescents with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Collaborated with other ministry partners to establish and support the Prevention of Bullying and the Mental Health Capacity Building in Schools projects for children and adolescents.
  • Continue to facilitate and participate in distance learning and use digital teaching tools as a home study tutor and doctoral student and instructor.
