Prepare for convocation

  1. Submit application for graduation
    Review your program requirements to verify your eligibility to graduate, submit an application for graduation to the Office of the Registrar and complete all program requirements by April 30, 2025. View the Office of the Registrar's graduation procedures for more information or contact grad-app@athabascau.ca for questions regarding your graduation status.
  2. Office of the Registrar confirms eligibility to graduate
    Upon receipt of your application for graduation, the Office of the Registrar will advise you by letter that you are eligible to graduate. The Office of the Registrar mails your parchment on, or shortly after, the graduation date provided in your confirmation letter.
  3. Registration for convocation opens
    Details on how to register will be sent to eligible graduates in the spring and posted to the convocation website. Remember to keep your contact information up to date in your myAU account to ensure you receive convocation communications, and register before the deadline. Late registrations cannot be accommodated.
  4. Stay informed
    Watch your inbox (and junk mail folder!) or check the convocation website for details and instructions on how to participate in convocation. Follow @athabascau on social media for fun surprises!
  5. Participate in convocation
    Celebrate your achievements with your family and friends!
