Terry Beckman received his Ph.D. in Marketing from Queen’s University and his M.B.A in International Business from the University of Victoria. He teaches Marketing Management, Global Marketing and International Business Management in an online environment. In addition to over eight years teaching and developing courses for an online university, he has also done some research in pedagogy and online learning. Prior to Athabasca University, he taught at Queen’s University, The Royal Military College of Canada and the University of Victoria. His background includes over 12 years of industry experience, including work with IBM Canada Ltd, the Canadian High Commission in Malaysia and business consulting.
