Sue Mitchell has over 40 years of academic experience, consulting, curriculum development, management and organizational practitioner in both the public and private sectors. Sue joined the Faculty of Business at Athabasca University in 1997, teaching Organizational Behavioural and Human Resources courses at AU partnering institution, Lethbridge College. Throughout the 24 years at AU, she has held a number of full and part time Academic Coordinator positions, Academic Expert for the majority of Organizational Behavioural courses. Currently Sue is an Academic Expert, and marker.
Since 2000 Sue also works for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and the Southern Alberta Language Assessment Centre (SALAS) as a Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test Certified Assessor for Newcomers to Canada. She received and maintains National Certification through Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Certified in various English literacy and non literacy assessment tools.
