Certifications and professional designations
Athabasca University courses can be used to fulfil some or all of the requirements for many designations. All courses transfer into our online certificate and degree programs.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
AU provides specific online courses to help you meet the requirements of the Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
AU provides specific online courses and business programs to help you meet the requirements for entering CPA Canada’s Professional Education Program.
Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR)
Graduates of AU’s Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management programs can get a head start on their CPHR designation (minimum GPA requirement applies).
Other certifications and professional designations
AU undergraduate business courses are recognized by a number of professional associations toward their professional designations or to fulfil ongoing training/updating requirements
