Overview
This course offers students an opportunity to pursue directed study in a topic of interest in women's and gender studies. No online study guide, required readings, or course materials are provided. This is a senior-level course and therefore students are expected to include and draw on a significant component of advanced, theoretical readings in feminism related to the area of study. Only students who have completed the directed study approval form and have it approved by the Course Coordinator may register in the course.
Evaluation
To receive credit for this course, you must achieve a minimum grade of D (50 percent) on all four assignments and an overall grade of D (50 percent) or better for the entire course. A failing grade of F will be assigned when the weighted composite score is 49% or lower or when any of the assignments does not receive a passing grade.

Materials
This course either does not have a course package or the textbooks are open-source material and available to students at no cost. This course has a Course Administration and Technology Fee, but students are not charged the Course Materials Fee.
