Overview

SPAN 330 has been designed to target reading and writing skills while increasing vocabulary and improving grammar. The course prepares you to use Spanish in written communication both creatively and academically, which be useful in further Spanish studies.

Course Objectives

Students in SPAN 330 will

  • develop reading skills.
  • expand Spanish vocabulary.
  • demonstrate advanced skills in informal writing.
  • apply new competencies in formal writing.
  • make use of Spanish grammatical structures.

Evaluation

To receive credit for SPAN 330, you must achieve a grade of at least 50 percent on the final essay and a course composite grade of at least D (50 percent). The weighting of the composite grade is as follows:
