Introduction

Individual students collaborate with the instructor to develop a reading course that works for them. The course introduces students to this rich field of inquiry and integrates somewhat with the instructor's strengths and current research efforts. The instructor selects textbooks and directs students to a series of readings on weak/strong sustainability. Students will be asked to find and provide other readings after discussions with the instructor.

Athabasca University reserves the right to amend course outlines occasionally and without notice. Courses offered by other delivery methods may vary from their individualized-study counterparts.

Opened in Revision 1, September 1, 2001.
