Overview
French 362 is designed to follow French 201 or a full first-year university French course. This course continues the study of French grammar, expansion of vocabulary, and the study of short stories selected from francophone literature. The student will improve both written and spoken French through conversation, comprehension, grammar, and composition.

Evaluation
To receive credit for FREN 362, you must complete and submit the oral midterm and final exams, receive a grade of at least 50 percent on each of the written examinations and achieve a course composite grade of at least “D” (50 percent). The weighting of the course assignments is as follows:

Challenge Evaluation
To receive credit for the FREN 362 challenge registration, you must achieve a grade of at least “D” (50 percent) on the written examination and at least 50 per cent on the oral examination (telephone or on-line). You must write a composition (to be submitted as a word document).
