Comprehensive Exam for Phase One (CPEX) 506

Overview

Using a case study method of assessment, students are evaluated for their applied understanding of their Phase One coursework. Through their approach to a specific case, students demonstrate how they have integrated knowledge of the six subject areas. 

Students are given six days to analyse a case study and to prepare and submit their responses to the exam questions. The exam consists of six questions that evaluate students’ accumulated knowledge of their Phase One courses.

Evaluation

Your grade will be based on the successful completion and submission of the six subject exam questions within the allotted time. Failure to submit a question will be deemed a Fail on that question.

To pass the exam, you must meet this minimum standard:

• receive a minimum of 70% on at least five of the six questions.

Materials

A case study will be available on the exam site at the start of the exam.
