Overview
This course offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience integrating business theory and practice. Students will be matched with an industry partner and work on an applied project.
Available projects will vary but may be available across multiple business disciplines (e.g., accounting, business technology management, marketing, finance). Interested students are encouraged to reach out to the Course Coordinator through the Faculty of Business Student Support Centre.
To receive project approval, students must submit their resume as well as an expression of interest letter to the Course Coordinator with the following details:
- Full name, student ID, program enrolment
- Motivation: Explain why you are interested in a work-integrated learning opportunity, share how you see it aligning with your professional goals and interests, and identify specific challenges or opportunities you hope to encounter.
- Availability: Indicate your availability to work on this course, considering your current workload and commitments (e.g., how many hours can you contribute to the course each week).
- Skills and Expertise: Identify the specific skills, expertise, or areas of specialization that you believe make you well-suited for potential projects. Highlight any relevant qualifications, certifications, or training you have received.
Registration in this course will be approved only after the student has been matched with an industry partner and a project has been agreed to. See Course Overview for more.
