Description:

Though the purpose of APA (American Psychological Association) citation style may not seem clear at first, it provides a standardized way to format documents, give credit to others’ ideas and work, and present information clearly and understandably. As students grow in their confidence in using APA style, they will begin to appreciate that they and their work are part of a community of academics researching and writing in numerous critical fields. In this APA citation webinar presented by Athabasca University's Write Site and Faculty of Graduate Studies, students will learn how to:

• Format a title page, an abstract, and headings in their papers and assignments.
• Document a variety of source types correctly through in-text citations and references.
• Learn how to use resources to find answers to tricky APA questions.
