About CIDER and CIDER sessions

The Canadian Initiative for Distance Education Research (CIDER) is a research initiative of the International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning (IRRODL). CIDER sponsors a variety of professional development activities designed to increase the quantity and quality of distance education research.

CIDER sessions are an online, open, and free seminar series where researchers working in distance, distributed, online, or blended education can present their work to a broad audience of fellow researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world.
