PowerED by Athabasca University and Journey Education partner to deliver data science and web development boot camps

New online coding and data certificates are designed to help career changers or those aspiring to pursue a career in tech

Athabasca, Alberta (May 6, 2024) PowerED™ by Athabasca University (AU) has partnered with Journey Education, a renowned provider of educational programs, to deliver comprehensive boot camps in Data Science and
Web Development.

The boot camps are designed for people looking to advance their careers in the high-demand fields of data science and web development.

"These programs will not only provide participants with valuable skills but also offer a pathway to rewarding career opportunities in data science and web development," said Brock Olive, director of PowerED by Athabasca University.

Equipping learners with in-demand technical skills

The online, instructor-led coding and data certificates can be completed in three to six months and will provide participants with over 400 hours of project-based coursework and intensive, hands-on experience to excel in the tech field.
