Athabasca University to provide flexible online learning to HCLTech Canada employees

Eligible HCLTech employees will be able to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems while also advancing their career

Edmonton, Alberta (Oct. 18, 2023)—Athabasca University (AU), Canada's Open University, has partnered with HCLTech to provide advanced learning opportunities for the leading global technology company's employees.

This partnership provides a flexible pathway to earning a degree for HCLTech employees in their four Canadian offices who have successfully completed the company's IT apprenticeship program. Eligible employees will be enrolled in AU's Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems program.

The education provided by AU will build upon what these students have learned during HCLTech’s IT apprenticeship program, which creates new pathways for aspiring tech professionals by providing innovative training opportunities, including on-the-job learning designed to fast-track their careers.
