Overview
WGST 400 deals with selected aspects of feminist thought and feminist movements in the Western tradition from the 1790s to the 1940s. Its topics include various debates about the meaning of feminism, and feminist critiques of, and attempts to change the social order in particular times and places.

Evaluation
To receive credit for WGST 400, you must obtain a grade of "50" per cent or better on the final assignment, and achieve a course composite grade of at least "D" (50 per cent). The weighting of the composite grade is as follows:
